Mary Stewart Van Leeuwen is professor of Philosophy and Department Chair at Eastern University, St Davids, PA. She was born in London, Ontario and is now a resident alien in the USA.
She has a BA (Hons) in Psychology from Queen’s University, Kingston (1965), MA in Social Pyschology (1970), a PhD in Social and Cross-Cultural Psychology (1971) and Certificate in African Studies (1971) from Northwestern. Dr Van Leeuwen is the author of several books on psychology and on gender. Her most recent, A Sword Between the Sexes, deals with C S Lewis and the gender debate. She has served as an editor for Christianity Today and for Journal of Psychology and Theology.
