Mark Roques

Mark Roques is a storyteller who has spent many years in education. For eleven years he taught philosophy and religious studies at Prior Park College where he developed a unique Christian world view course that combined film, music, story telling and dramatic entertainment. He is now Director of RealityBites part of the Thinking Faith Network.

Mark is a lively storyteller and the author of four books, including The Spy, the Rat and the Bed of Nails: Creative Ways of Talking about Christian Faith. His work is focused on storytelling and how this can help us to communicate the Christian faith. He has written many articles for the Baptist TimesRE Today, YouthscapeDirection magazine and the Christian Teachers Journal

He was awarded his MPhil on ‘Popper, Darwinism and Third World Evolutionary Epistemology’ from the Institute of Christian Studies in 1986.
